Guidelines for Fair Use of E-Resources

The LRC at IIMBG provides electronic resources such as e-journals, e-databases, and e-books, which are meant for academic purposes. These resources can be searched and browsed, and material may be downloaded and printed as single copies of articles, as in the case of printed library material. Downloading or printing a complete book, an entire issue, or a volume of one or more journals (called systematic downloading) is strictly prohibited. The use of robots, spiders, or intelligent agents to access, search, and/or systematically download from these resources is also prohibited. Any violation of this policy will result in penal action as per the rules and regulations of the Institute. Please note that downloading resources systematically may result in the publisher blocking access for the entire community of users at IIM Bodh Gaya. These rules are subject to revision/change occasionally without assigning any reason. The Librarian is free to make any decision in the interest of the library or institution.
